Beyond academic excellence from Kindergarten to IGCSE and A Levels, Simba places a strong emphasis on the holistic development of students โ nurturing intellectual, emotional, social, physical and moral growth within a safe and supportive learning environment.
Confidence is communication, independence, responsibility and self-awareness. It is built in small ways: reading aloud in Year 2, chairing a club meeting in Year 9, standing at a public speaking evening in Year 11.
Creativity is nurtured across the curriculum, not parked in a single art lesson. It shows up in a science investigation, a piece of persuasive writing, a LEGO Education build or a school production.
Character covers morality, decorum, leadership, perseverance and empathy. House parents, prefects and monitors all carry part of that work, and so does every teacher who insists on doing things properly.
Competence is academic, social and emotional excellence together โ the Cambridge learner attributes of being reflective, innovative, confident, engaged and responsible.
