Extra-curricular activity at Simba is timetabled, supervised and taken as seriously as any lesson, because it is where 21st-century skills โ€” creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking โ€” are actually practised.

The programme runs on six strands: an international sports calendar, STEM-based activities, the career guidance programme, life skills activities, public speaking activities and international trips.

In practice that means the STEM Club in the ICT labs, the Sports Club and its inter-school fixtures, the Rising Superstar Club for debate and performing arts, the Life Skills Club, and the Simba Swimming Club training in our own 25m pool.

Every learner takes part. Talent is not a prerequisite โ€” participation is.
